The Foodbank House is on a table in the Narthex/Lobby and is ready to receive your donations. For those who haven’t heard, the Mount Joy Food and Furniture Bank has been relocated. The rent for this new warehouse is $700.00 a month. The Caring Hands and Hearts has stepped forward and agreed to pay part of the monthly rent. There are envelopes marked for the Food Bank in each pew pocket as well as a supply on the table next to the Food BANK. Please fell free to contribute to this cause. Any money received over and above the $700.00 rent paid will be given to the Mount Joy Food Bank. An accounting will be given at each monthly Caring Hands and Hearts meeting, to which
everyone is invited.
We will continue to collect nonperishable food items for the Food Bank
every 2nd Sunday of the month.
